Solartron Energy Systems Inc. has developed the world’s first affordable system for solar hot water & photovoltaic electricity production.

The SolarBeam Concentrator system is simply the most efficient solar hot water system available.  The SolarBeam Concentrator’s unique

tracking system and design has applications in heating, cooling, and electricity generation.  SolarBeam’s computer-controlled 2-axis

tracking system maximizes solar concentration equivalent to 350 suns which means more efficiency throughout the day.  The result –

a more steady and reliable solar thermal energy stream to meet your needs.   If you’re looking for solar hot water energy to harness, why

would you not want maximize the power? Simply put, the SolarBeam reins strong over all solar hot water systems available on the market.

HARD FACTS!

  • Payback is 6 years versus 20+ more years on solar flate plate panels or 15 years on evacuated tube when used in process heat
  •  applications
  • You would need 15 flat panels to equal the energy generated by 1 SolarBeam in process heat applications
  • Only SolarBeam provides a future photovoltaic (PV) module to generate up to 4 kW of electricity.

  •

  • Solartron Energy Systems Inc has made it easy adding solar thermal energy to your industrial or commercial facility

  •  is easy to implement now with our solar hot water heating systems. Multiple stand-alone systems can generate

  •  thousands of kW or BTUs required for even the most demanding applications\

    SOLAR RESOURCE MAP

Click on the interactive map to see the direct beam radiation for your area.

Solar concentrators use direct beam radiation which is better than global radiation because the intensity is higher.

  •  To see the direct beam radiation in the map, click on “Map Tools”, then click “Direct Normal Irradiance”. This will show the radiation level for concentrating solar concentrators around the world. Click on your location and the radiation data for your region will automatically display. If your radiation level is higher than 3.5 kWh, then the SolarBeam is an excellent choice.

    ABOUT SOLARTRON ENERGY SYSTEMS INC.
SolarTron Energy Systems Inc. is a privately held high tech company, based in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada.  Edward Herniak, founder and CEO of SolarTron Energy Systems Inc. is the principal designer.  Mr. Herniak possesses many years of experience in providing energy saving solutions through his company
    EG Energy Controls.

EG Energy Controls (EGEC) manufactures several energy saving products for commercial and industrial applications. These products offer quality, reliability and state of the art technology at a competitive price for end-users. EGEC markets and distributes its products directly to end-users and through Energy Saving Centers located in Canada, USA and Latin America.  EGEC’s products are certified by ENTELA, a nationally recognized testing and rating firm.

In order to enter the alternative energy market, EG Energy Controls created the SolarTron division which sells the SolarBeam Solar Concentrator. This concentrator uses the shape of a parabolic curve to concentrate the suns energy on a focal point. The SolarBeam is 262% more efficient that hot water panels and 98% more efficient than evacuated tube technology.

The SolarBeam uses patent-pending technology to provide 10kW of heat per hour throughout the entire day. For applications that require air conditioning, an absorption chiller can be used. In 2011, the SolarBeam will be able to produce 4kW of electricity per hour. The SolarBeam (solar hot water system) can be installed on the ground using a 12 foot post, or it can be placed on top of a flat roof, with a different configuration.
